Mailboxes are set up online in the My Mail Center app. For business formation, Live Scan and shipping, visit any of our stores or call.
Open a mailbox in four steps
Sign-up is completed in the app and takes about 10 minutes.

Choose a store and plan
Downtown, Roscoe Village or Hyde Park. Personal and business plans, billed monthly or yearly.

Verify your ID
Upload two forms of ID. The Postal Service requires them for every private mailbox.

Sign USPS Form 1583
The app guides you through the form. No separate download or paper form is needed.

Use your new address
Once we activate your mailbox, mail and packages arrive at our store and you get an alert for each one.
